Pre-K Feet Art

Our Pre-Kindergarten classroom is the introduction to school experience for most children. We strive to create an environment that fosters creative thinking and active exploration. We use the outdoors as a classroom as much as we use our indoor space. By observing and responding to childrens' interests and abilities, we facilitate a richer learning experience.

Flash cards and worksheets are not used in our classrooms. The children learn language arts, math and science skills by actively interacting with their environment.

Social skills are an everyday focus in our classroom. We help them to better understand and communicate with each other. Respect for each other and the environment is taught by example. The relationships they form with teachers and peers are the foundation for continuing educational attitudes and skills. We want each child to feel respected and valued.
